The 1st class seat on the TGV Oceanne introduced numerous innovative features and concepts never before seen by customers. This seat not only rotates, ensuring passengers always face the direction of the train's movement, but also includes various additional amenities, such as a mirror, tray, bands, and foldable hangers. It took a significant team effort to design, develop, and manufacture the unique shapes and mechanisms of this seat.

From a CMF (color, material, and finish) perspective, the project's challenges included the use of metal alloys that could adapt to the intricate shapes, as well as designing the mechanisms, selecting fabrics, and developing foams. All of these elements were chosen and enhanced based on a requirements chart provided by SNCF.
